| What | Details | Why | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Visit statistics | Page visited, day, website you came from (domain only), device type (mobile, tablet, computer), language, clicks on a few buttons (CV, e-mail, games). To tell you apart within a single day, a fingerprint made from your IP address and browser is scrambled with a key that changes every day: your IP address is never stored and nobody can follow you from one day to the next. | Knowing which pages are read. Legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6.1.f); first-party anonymous audience measurement, exempt from consent (CNIL guidelines). | 13 months |
| Game leaderboards (Snake, bricks) | The nickname you choose (3 to 12 characters, shown publicly), score, game, date. An anti-cheat fingerprint of the day (same principle as above) is erased after 24 hours. | Showing the Hall of Fame. Your choice: nothing is sent unless you type a nickname and submit it. | As long as the leaderboard exists, or until you ask for removal |
| E-mails you send me | Your address and your message. | Answering you (legitimate interest / pre-contractual steps). | The time of our exchange, at most 3 years after the last contact |
| Server logs | IP address, date, requested page, browser. Kept by the host, not by me. | Security and proper operation of the server (legitimate interest). | Short period set by the host |
| Backups | Daily copy of the site database (statistics and leaderboards above). | Recovery after an incident. | 30 days |
The phone motion sensor (phone-shake easter egg) is read only on your device, never stored or sent.
5. Cookies & browser storage
No cookies on the public website: no advertising, no social network, no third-party analytics, no external fonts or videos. (Only the private administration area, used by me alone, sets a login cookie.)
To make the games and settings work, the site keeps a few values in your own browser (localStorage / sessionStorage). They never leave your device and are not sent to me. As they are needed for features you use, they don’t require consent.
| Key | Used for |
|---|---|
mr-sfx | Sound on or off |
mr-snake, mr-bricks, mr-lost | Your personal records (Snake, bricks, 404 level) |
mr-snake-name | The last nickname you typed, so you don’t have to type it again |
mr-ach, mr-seen, mr-visits | Your achievements, the projects you opened, your number of visits (for the achievements) |
mr-motion | Whether you allowed motion sensors on iPhone (phone-shake easter egg) |
mr-night, mr-visit, mr-lang (session) | Messages already shown during this visit, language switches (for an achievement); erased when the tab closes |
6. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or erase your data, object to or restrict its use, and receive it in a portable format: just write to mathias.rebecca2@gmail.com (for a leaderboard entry, give the nickname, game and approximate date). Answer within one month. Statistics are anonymous: they cannot be linked back to you, so there is nothing to look up there.
If you think your rights are not respected, you can file a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL.
7. External links
Links to GitHub, itch.io, LinkedIn or my other games open sites that have their own privacy policies; I am not responsible for their content.
